Stephen I. Goldberg was born in Montreal Quebec. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree (with distinction) from Sir George Williams University in1974 (now Concordia) and a law degree (LL.B.) from McGill University in 1977.

He has been involved in the private practice of Law since May 1979 and associated with Barnes, Sammon LLP since November 1993.

His practice consists of all aspects of residential and commercial real estate ( i.e. sales, purchases, financing, development work), Corporate Commercial ( i.e. incorporations, amalgamations, rollovers, exchanges, Business sales and purchases, financing, leasing, shareholder and partnership agreements), Collection Litigation including Construction Liens and Breach of Trust, Wills, Estates and Powers of Attorney, Family Law.
